When Nova Vida was just a green shoot of an idea Sally was busy burning the midnight oil trying to find the site, planning the set-up and encouraging the team. She single handedly reduced a 5 year plan to 5 months such was her enthusiasm for the concept of Nova Vida. That enthusiasm continues today.
Sally comes with many years of experience in business, administration and marketing. After graduating in business studies, Sally entered the Civil Service where she enjoyed a successful career rising to middle management. With career breaks to raise her family and gaining experience in financial management in the private sector, Sally brings a depth of experience invaluable to the development of Nova Vida. Sally’s enthusiasm for Nova Vida permeates throughout the team and her passion for making the patient’s stay at the Centre as comfortable as possible will be experienced by all who enter our gates.
Sally’s major role, when not developing the business, is looking after the patients. Sally will often be the first voice you hear when the initial enquiry is made. She will quite often be found at the airport, accompanied by a member of the nursing team, meeting the new patients and will ensure that their administration from start, through treatment and on discharge runs as smoothly as possible. And if there is anything a patient might need of a personal nature during their stay Sally will be out and about trying to find it.
Although Sally has close contact with the Clinical Team she has no access to clinical information and as a consequence is often approached by the patients who just want to ‘sound off’ after those ‘nasty’ counsellors have given them a tough time in group.
